Author Guidelines

The journal "Concrete and Reinforced Concrete" accepts for publication only original scientific articles according to the topic of the journal, not previously published in other printed publications!

Template for the design of the article

License agreement

To publish an article in the journal, you must submit the following materials:

The title of the article is in Russian and English.

UDC index.

Information about the author in Russian and English:

  • FULL NAME. author (in full)
  • Academic degree, academic title, position, place and address of work/place of study
  • Author's e-mail, contact phone number

Information about the authors in Russian and English: full name and patronymic, surname; the exact place of work or study of each author; address of place of work or study; email addresses for publication in the journal and for sending proofs of the article (if necessary, distinguish between what is for publication and what is only for the editor), phone numbers of authors to answer questions about the article.

Abstract / Abstract (in Russian and English): 200–250 words.

Keywords / Keywords (in Russian and English): 5–10 words or phrases.

List of literature / References

  • List of cited or used literature: preferably at least 20 sources, prepared in accordance with GOST R 7.0.5-2008 “Bibliographic reference”.
  • The list of references should contain primarily links to current scientific works of domestic and foreign experts, primarily articles published over the past five years in peer-reviewed scientific periodicals indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index, Web of Science, Scopus.
  • You should not refer to textbooks and teaching aids, popular scientific literature (unless they are the object of research), as well as abstracts and dissertations (unless they are publicly available on the Internet). 
  • Unreasonable self-citation should be avoided, i.e. excessive number of references to own works published in different journals. The recommended volume of self-citation is within 20%.

Figures and tables must have titles.

  • Drawings are provided as separate files in the following formats: eps, ai, cdr, jpeg, tiff.
  • Vector (diagrams and graphs)
  • CorelDRAW (.cdr) up to version 12 inclusive. All fonts are in curves.
  • Raster (photos)
  • TIFF (JPG or GIF) with a resolution of at least 300 dpi (color in CMYK mode) and a physical size of at least 10 cm on the smallest side.

Making photos (images)

The captions to the photographs (images) must contain the following information: author (initials, surname); name; © owner's mark.

If the photographs (images) are borrowed from other sources, it is necessary to indicate the source of the borrowing and the name of the copyright holder in the caption to the drawing.

According to clause 1 of Article 1274 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, "Free use of a work for informational, scientific, educational or cultural purposes":

"It is allowed without the consent of the author or other copyright holder and without payment of remuneration, but with the obligatory indication of the name of the author whose work is being used and the source of borrowing ...".

Articles containing formulas, in addition to the word file, must be duplicated in a pdf file to avoid distortion of the formulas.

The minimum length of the article is 10–12 pages of text in 14-point Arial font, one and a half spaced (32 lines per page).

The number of authors (co-authors) should not exceed four. In justified cases, this number can be increased, but the co-authors must additionally provide a justification describing the content/scope of work performed by each of them.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The manuscripts are accepted if has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.

  2. The materials should be prepared in a format OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or World Perfect.

  3. Internet links are provided as a complete URL. 

  4. Text should be typed with an interval of one and a half line spacing, font Times New Roman, 14 pt; to highlight the accents it is recommended to use italics rather than underlining (except Internet links). All images, graphics and tables are placed within the text according to the meaning of the particular part of text  (and not at the end of the document).

  5. Text should follow the stylistic and bibliography requirements as stated in  Regulations  located in the Part "About Us." 

  6. Please, remove the authors' names from the title of the article and other parts of the document to ensure the  anonymity of reviewing.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
  2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
  3. Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work (See The Effect of Open Access).

Specified when registering the names and addresses will be used solely for technical purposes of a contact with the Author or reviewers (editors) when preparing the article for publication. Private data will not be shared with other individuals and organizations.
